How to Clean a Glass Stovetop Without Scratching It

Glass stovetops look clean and modern, which is exactly why every spill, burn mark, and fingerprint shows up like a spotlight. The temptation is real: grab a scouring pad, some elbow grease, and go at it. Don't. That glass top is tougher than it looks, but it scratches easier than you'd think, and once those fine lines appear, they catch light and make the whole surface look permanently dull. You're not fighting the glass—you're working with it, using gentle abrasives and chemical action to lift burnt residue without friction damage.
