How to Silence a Squeaky Bed Frame

Squeaks in a bed frame are almost always the result of friction where two surfaces rub together under pressure. It is rarely the fault of the mattress itself, but rather the result of bolts loosening over time or wooden joints drying out and losing their snug fit.
