How to Organize Your Bathroom Linen Closet

Order in the linen closet is the difference between a smooth morning routine and a chaotic scramble for a spare towel. When every sheet, bottle, and tube has a designated home, you stop buying duplicates you do not need and start actually finding what you are looking for. A well-organized closet uses vertical space effectively and relies on consistent containers that make it easy to see exactly how much inventory you have left. To do this well, you must be willing to clear everything out entirely before you begin. Trying to reorganize around clutter never works, because you cannot see the actual dimensions of your shelves or the real volume of your items. By starting with a blank slate, you create a system that can be maintained with minimal effort, rather than a temporary fix that falls apart within a week.

Empty and Purge Ruthlessly. Empty the entire closet onto a bed or floor. Toss expired toiletries, medications, and stained towels or mismatched sheets that you no longer use.
